Eddie Lang Day 2017

What a wonderful event this was in 2017 ! We added a new twist and brought down Vince Giordano from Brooklyn to not only play with the band , but to feature his new film "There's a Future in the Past" showing the life of a real working musician and why it's so important to keep this music alive. Vince held a "short" Q&A session afterwards - that could have gone on all afternoon - and then joined the extended 22pc BSO's recreation of the 1929/30 Paul Whiteman Orchestra , the first time seen or heard in Philadelphia in 41 years !
